There was a brief period on the plane when I wondered if our trip with toddlers to Paris might actually break a 50 year marriage! But in all seriousness, it astounds me. I think there’s something lovely about getting to that point–a phase of marriage most don’t experience because their marriages don’t last as long.
I celebrated one of my wedding anniversaries in Paris. It wasn’t anywhere close to 50 years, though. This picture makes me want to go back and do it again. Hope you are all having a lot of fun.
What a wonderful picture – perfect! Miss you.

Congrats! What a lovely way to celebrate
Thank you. It was really a once-in-a-lifetime weekend, appropriately enough, for a once-in-a-lifetime event.

Oh C. Paris! I just love it. I am now harboring a not-so-secret hope we can live there one day.
